”While I don’t believe in love as an emotion, I believe in her. My woman. My muse. My forever.” ~ Landon King

Landon, a psychopath with a surprising array of skills and a journey towards understanding emotions and empathy, fascinated me. His transformation, along with being a modern-day Cupid, added depth to his character. Mia, with her resilient nature and distinct sense of fashion and having selective mutism, brought a unique dynamic to their relationship, making also her a standout character.

The setting felt immersive, allowing me to vividly experience the story alongside the characters. I would have loved more scenes with the somnophilia. The plot, fueled by Mia's clarity about her relationship needs and Landon's willingness to go beyond his nature, was amazing to follow. Intrigue held strong throughout, and every aspect kept me engaged.

Logical consistency prevailed, with main and side characters making sense within the narrative. However, Mia's initial attraction to Landon and certain actions posed minor queries for me. Nonetheless, these nuances didn't detract significantly from my overall enjoyment, which I rate a perfect 10/10. Additional appreciation goes to the portrayal of Landon's caring side towards his siblings, revealing a depth to his character that transcends his anarchic exterior.
