I just finished Broken Harbor and I have been left speechless, but let me see if I can find some words.
Catherine Cowles did it again.

She made me fall in love with her male main character and claim that this one is now my favorite. She just loves making a liar out of me. But truly, Cope is my new favorite. The way he cares for Sutton and Luca sealed the deal for me. He is a golden retriever, cinnamon roll, hockey hero with emotional trauma that falls hard for the sweet baker single mom heroine with a broken past. Add in a cute kid with funny one liners and the crazy grandma that is over the top outrageous and you have the perfect book. The spicy scenes were just the right amount for the story.

And dang it… I swear I will figure out the bad guy at least one time. But at this point I am zero for what like 30? I never saw the plot twist coming.

It was a 5 star read all around for me!
