This the rare standalone novel that doesn't leave me needing more, which in this case is a good thing. Somehow everything is perfect and nothing more is necessary. My favorite parts are the romance (so sweet and slow), the character development (esp. Sybel), and the individual phrases (I love McKillip's way with words).

I will definitely be returning to this book, and (hopefully) trying more of the author's work.
