When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi

reflective sad fast-paced
Difficult to put star ratings on someone's life so please take this as unrated. I did not realise going in that this was going to be so Christian heavy. I really should have known to be honest as I've seen for myself how terminally ill people turn to religion for a last grasp of hope and comfort. I thought somehow that Kalanithi being a scientist and doctor himself he would not fall into this trap but I suppose being terminally ill changes you.

Lucy's afterword is beautifully written.
