I’ve actually read this book like 6+ times, most recently for the Shorter is Better book club that includes a Q&A with the author. These stories are outstanding, with this collective everywoman “we” in many of them, but with vivid details that still let you feel like you’re escaping into a story. So many pack an emotional punch that hits just right. It’s easy to get lost in these stories but come away feeling like you understand yourself more than before.
