Ugggghhhhhhh. The story was cool. THE FLOW OF THE RHYMES WAS SO OFF. It was so jilted and had way too many syllables in most verses. It made it hard to read. I think this book could have used a little more text TLC and/or could have just not rhymed. This is a personal gripe that doesn't influence my review in the slightest, but where was the lesbian pride flag? :( Maybe I missed it but I didn't see one.
