All My Rage by Sabaa Tahir
5.0
Heartbreakingly poignant, All My Rage moves among the perspectives of teenagers Noor & Sal and Sal’s mother Misbah weaving a breathtaking tale of grief, hope, forgiveness and love against all circumstances. The characters are nuanced, painfully human with their complex relationships to their identities, dreams, and each other. And the challenges faced by them—the racism, broken familial bonds, the difficult decisions made—is so honest and raw that certain moments will leave you seething and crying and feeling the same deep rage and grief that the characters must process. Highly important, beautiful read, but definitely be aware of the trigger warnings!
