The biographies are oversimplified and the tone is weird. It made me cringe to read it. A sassy white woman does not need to retell these stories. I only read two of the bios before having to put it down.

eta: I looked at some other reviews and it appears the author has some transphobic throwaway lines and dead names a few folks. Bad. There's also evidently a lot of typos? I also agree with other reviewers that the trendy language is going to heavily age this the further out we get from the publishing date.
