Reading this turned me into a couch potato because time fries when you’re having fun
This is my first time reading this and although I have watched the film, I wasn’t expecting it to be this funny and entertaining. Considering the extremely stressful situation, it’s a fun sci-fi rescue mission that never took itself too seriously and made for a great time
There wasn’t a defeatist attitude in sight and humour was always found in the scariest of scenarios. His actions were explained, even though sometimes they went over my head, so it felt like I was there with him on his potato growing adventure
The pacing was great throughout and seeing the events play out on Earth were just as fun. I thought it ended quite abruptly though but the last few sentences really hit home showing what this book is all about
