Divergent by Veronica Roth
5.0
It has been probably said a thousand times but the best word to describe Divergent is addictive. I can not stop reading it and when I was not reading I was thinking about it. I finally find a character who I can rely on and this character is Tris Prior. In many way this book looks like other YA books but it seems so different and original to me. When I have trouble to find myself in a character like Katniss Everdeen in Hunger Games and her universe (even if I loved it), I have been swallowed in Veronica Roth's book. Beyond the guilty pleasure, her writing is intelligent and very captivated. All characters are complexed and not driven into cliché however this genre is well-known to be flooded by them. There are no climax because the all book is filled with action and great scenes of emotions and you can not stop reading at any moment because each one of them seems important. Now I feel empty I have to read the second book.
