I don't even know if words could even describe the feelings I felt as I was reading the book, and now that it's over, I let out an audible gasp and a "wow". This book has moments where I felt like I could relate to Stephen. Topics on grief, intimacy, love and belonging have been greatly written. What I like about it was that it's realistic. Human relationships are complicated, it's never an one-size fits all situation. Seeing how Stephen and his dad, Eric, relationship was like at the end really gave the book a nice "closure" for the present, and allows readers to not just hope for the best for the characters but also in their own lives as well.
