I was super hyped about getting an arc of the this book.
Shooter and Sterling have amazing chemistry right from the get go when they have a one night stand. A few months pass and Shooter finds out his hookup is his new competition.
Shooter was quite full of himself and I didn’t know if his character would grow on me but he definitely did. He had a lot more depth than his cocky persona let on. I think Sterling was perfect for him. He was able to be himself and open up about things with Sterling that he couldn’t with anyone else.
Sterling, my sweet baby. I loved how he had a kinda shy and timid personality but was totally confident when bronc riding, because he knew he was that good. I loved it when they finally just let themselves be together and everything clicked into place.
I also really liked how the situation with Shooter’s father was handled. It wasn’t just ignoring each other or glossing over it.
