I loved this one even more than the rest. A BFF to lovers, gay/straight romance, but not your typical gay bestie pinning for his straight friend, and I loved that.

Ethan’s been haunted by one single day that changed everything for him. He’s been left with PTSD and panic attacks that rule much of his life. But he does have his best friend and his work family. All of whom have been there to offer support and love. No one more than Knox though.

A fantastic story that doesn’t just deal with what it’s like to live with trauma, but also its impact on loved ones. The struggle to want to help and make things better, but not always getting it right. It’s hard to be the loved one. It was such an emotional journey. Ethan feels broken and struggling with survivor’s guilt, and Knox desperately wants him to find some healing.

I loved their friendship, it was strong and steady despite all that was going on. And even when feelings start to develop they remain so. And when they both finally give it 100%...chef’s kiss! These two will have a wonderful life.

We also get some great cameos from the rest of the gym/therapy group, especially Andrew, who’s such a lovely guy who desperately needs his own love story someone to care for him, as much as he cares for others.
