i really loved the first book and this one was just absolutely awful. i was having such a good time with keres and darius and we all of a sudden switch to barely any darius and shes now in love with another guy who is the reason her best friend died and is holding her sister hostage and literally broke her hand? i really hated their dynamic and the sex scenes felt way rapey to be even a little bit enjoyable. i was so excited for this series but knowing that there are supposed to be 6-8 books i definitely will not be continuing  tw for dubious consent
