The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Robin Wall Kimmerer

hopeful informative inspiring reflective medium-paced
I’m not sure what to say about this other than to tell you to talk a trip to your local bookstore and get yourself a copy of this outstanding book.

In 100 pages, Kimmerer packs this little book full to the brim with thought provoking knowledge. It wasn’t overly dense. It was clear and concise, well said, and I felt like I was having a conversation with Kimmerer.

Topics discussed in The Serviceberry have been weighing on my mind the past few years and I’ve truly tried to align my life with the things described in this book.

I know that we, as individuals, have little to no impact on the planet in the way these giant corporations do, but if we create small communities within our larger metropolitan areas that center themselves on giving, sharing, reducing waste, and being mindful - we make an impact together and we make a difference in each others lives.
