I wanted to read this book before watching the series to see what was better - the show or book. I found the main character (Belly) to be very annoying and the story to be slow paced. I wanted to keep reading to see what the hype was about. I feel like at the end is when the character actually started to act her age and took things serious. There were many times where I wanted to quit the book because I was bored and annoyed of the character.
