This volume was definitely the saddest of them all. It dealt with Charlie’s mental health in an extremely realistic way and definitely gave me an insight on what it’s like to live with an eating disorder. Everything in this book was realistic from Nick’s reaction to Charlie’s eating disorder, the arguments and disagreements within the Nelson and Spring households, what it’s like on a psychiatric ward, therapy and so much more. I feel like this is an extremely important and informative read.
I love Nick’s mum and Tori (Charlie’s sister) so so much. They really made this story. I can’t wait so see where the story goes next in volume 5.
