I absolutely loved the first book, but the second book just did not do it for me. I’m not quite sure if it was too many perspectives, that all sounded similar, or the lack of character development. Even though there was some plot progression, I wasn’t interested. I was surprised to get to the end of this book and find out that there’s going to be another one. This book definitely suffers from middle buck syndrome, and even though there was more romance, I really just did not have any interest in it. Which is interesting because I loved it in the first book.

Even though this book ended on an interesting cliffhanger, I don’t think I’m gonna be continuing the series.
