I really liked this!!! I am in love with the world that Sam Sykes created .. a combination of fantasy, gun-slinging western, and grit. World building was amazing. Some plot points were kind of muddled for me, like the tension and build-up kind of imploded but I'm guessing that was the author's intention? Either way, Sam Sykes is definitely on my radar now!! Can't wait for what he cooks up in the next book
