I LOVED this book. I just loved every second of reading this book. This is a true self indulgent book. Seductive, haunting, romantic, and just fantastic. If you are at all a fan of the labyrinth I would recommend this. She says the goblin king is NOT the same king from the movie.. but I beg to differ. He is explained the same and even has some exact quotes from the movie. This is on the cusp of fan fiction... but a fan fiction we all wanted and in the best way. This book just tore my heart apart, and I just love the characters (Even though the MC got on my nerves here and there.) the plot line, the love story, the Goblin King. The writer has an amazing way with words, and her writing is beautiful and poetic. I am a hopeless romantic at heart... so you plop a book like this in my hand and I am a goner. Definitely want to pick up more books by her in the future.
