Finding out that my favorite Kane brother from the first two books was going to be getting a second chance romance book was the best news ever. My favorite character with my favorite trope, what more could I ask for?

Cal and Alana did not disappoint. Their history tore my heart to shreds while their future together repaired it. Cal's struggles with his addictions were so hard to read because you could see that he was so mad at himself for how he was acting but it was what he knew best. However, his growth over the course of the 500+ pages made me so happy because he really deserved the world and he had to fight so many battles to get there that it was amazing to see him get to that point with his favorite people by his side.

I also LOVED Alana. the girls in this series are UNMATCHED. The fact that they are all not afraid to give the Kane brothers shit just was the best thing to watch and Alana fit in with all of them so nicely. She and Cami were just amazing and they balanced Cal out so well, true soulmate shit.

The epilogue and the extended epilogue were amazing and a GREAT end to this series. I am sad to see it come to an end but also it was wrapped up so nicely that I can't help but smile at it all. Cal and Iris are also my favorite best friend duo ever, I just loved so many things about this book I could go on for ages. Excited to see what's next in Lake Wisteria!
