Reaching Reed by Cora Rose, Nicole Dykes

5.0

In recent times I have been dabbling more in polyamory relationships or, as in this case, in stories with sex workers, almost as a challenge to my own tastes or inclinations. And so far, I have not been disappointed. The stories I've read have been so good that the fact that the MCs are more than two or are dedicated to working on something that is not so conventional loses importance against the story itself. This is one of those.Although I know little about [a:Cora Rose|22386631|Cora Rose|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1660432849p2/22386631.jpg] (something I plan to solve soon), [a:Nicole Dykes|13701591|Nicole Dykes|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1451592169p2/13701591.jpg] is a must read for me.

[b:Reaching Reed|75256797|Reaching Reed (Behind the Camera #1)|Cora Rose|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1673883581l/75256797._SY75_.jpg|100422272] is about Carter, a highly sought after cam boy, with an open personality, easy going, with a good and honest (too honest) family relationship with his mothers, and a great friendship with his co workers.

On the other side, we have Reed. Complete opposite of Carter. He is closed, very reserved, for reasons only he knows, and somewhat shy and with limited sexual experience, since his life has been focused on other things, which prevented him from exploring more. He desperately needs money, and because of that, he decides to reach out to Carter online for help and create his own content.

Something about Reed catches Carter's attention and he decides to help him, and soon a journey of discovery begins for both of them. Reed realizing that Carter is more than a means to an end, and Carter that Reed is more than just something to get through the boredom he's been feeling lately while making his videos.

Carter feels a deep need to help Reed, and goes to any lengths to reach him. And Reed needs someone to take care of him for a change. And despite some bumps along the way (mostly unintentionally caused by Carter's friends), they both find in each other what they need.

I was given an advanced copy and voluntarily wrote a review.
