OMG! This book is so incredible! I’m so grateful to Kobabe for being willing to not only write but also share eir story! For someone who’s cis it feels like such a deeply helpful way of sharing a way some genderqueer people may feel being misgendered and it was honestly super gender affirming for me too knowing I know how I feel in my body is right which is a HUGE privilege to have! I honestly wish there was a safe way to make this graphic novel compulsory reading for everyone, but alas, that is not the world we live in currently. 🙃🙃
