This is the second book in the Gossip Girls series. I rated the first book two stars, but I had this one on my shelf too. After several challenging reads, I thought it would be nice to read something simpler; brainless, really.

I am still shocked that young teens read this series. The characters are vapid and worry mostly about appearance, smoking, sex, and social status. Thankfully, I've already developed an identity and can shake my head at their behavior.

I was glad to finish this book in one day, and I will probably read the next one - this was better than the first. I'm not sure what the appeal of this series is, but I'll just let it happen. Haha. I wonder if there are actually wealthy communities like this. 2.5-3.0 stars :).
