You know what, I just love kitsch. And this book gave me so much of it. 
Many people have called this book cringe but nothing in me ever cringed. Instead I thought it was funny, silly, ridiculous, and corny. 

I quickly learned to love all the characters in this book. How dare they charm me so quickly?? The chemistry between Hex and Coal was fabulous. I devoured their pages. 

 I had so much fun reading this book.
