Redsight by Meredith Mooring
4.0
The main thing that jumps out about Redsight to me is the worldbuilding. I thought it was reallt interesting, and it made me read the book at a slower pace than I usually do, to really let the details sink in. I enjoyed the multiple POV's, and how they slowly revealed more and more about the world.
In the second half, and more in the last quater, I did feel like things moved rather fast, sometimes without, to me, enough explanations of the how and why, which was a shame!
Overall I still enjoyed reading the book, en would recommend it to friend who like (sapphic!) space opera with interesting worldbuilding. (I would give it a warning for excessive desriptions of blood and (not too) explicit body horror because wow XD
edit: whoops, almost forgot to mention that it's cool to have a blind main character written by a blind author!
Thank you Netgalley and Rebellion for providing me with this ARC!
