This was my 47th book finished in 2025.
This story was way too long. There was so much text at the beginning, which honestly, seemed to say nothing at all.
There were some interesting and memorable scenes (mostly involving rats), but the rest was just so slow-paced, vague and long. A shame, as this is the first thing by Poe I didn't actually enjoy.
