This was one of the more creative thrillers I've read, but I think the hype for Verity led to my disappointment upon finishing it. I was expecting more suspense, more shock, and more mindfuckery than what I got. Still an interesting read and didn't rely on any overused thriller tropes that I hate which I appreciated
