okay so: i was hesitant. me, reading new adult romance? i'm an english major! i could never read new adult romance. and yet, in spite of the loooonnng build up (not worth it) and hannah's weird attitude about other girls and her like. complete indifference to that one composer girl getting taken advantage of by ... casssss. .... (not indifference but more like petty rage. girl, grow a backbone and like. tell her. in the guise of "sparing her feelings" she didn't tell her that she thought cass was taking advantage of her to Show Off and then had no sympathy for her when it turned out she was right, which is ultimately Bictchery and i would never want to do another girl like that, or be done like that) the end and the romance were. worth it. I should probably stop giving 4 stars to books that don't really earn their 4 star endings but. that's just how it be sometimes.
