Break No Bones by Kathy Reichs
4.0
Another enjoyable read by Bones author, Kathy Reichs. Book #9 in the Temperance Brennan series, Break No Bones follows Temp, a forensic anthropologist, as she uncovers a mystery surrounding several skeletons found in different ways although they share similar markings on their bones.
I always find these books enjoyable. The writing style is very American cop show vibe, but you get sucked into the mystery. The jargon is technical but not too technical that it is inaccessible. I found this storyline particularly interesting as I couldn’t figure out how the cause of death, and I found the plot twists entertaining. All round one of the better books in the series in my opinion.
