Laura Pavlov has done it again! The Cottonwood Creek series is just straight bangers of books. I really enjoyed reading Brinkley and Lincoln’s story. They start off really pushing each other’s buttons (in a fun way) but it slowly changes as they get to know each other. I liked seeing their relationship evolve. They deeply care about each other and are so supportive. I appreciate Brinkley’s independence and how driven she is to make a name for herself in the world of sports journalism. I find that Brinkley and Lincoln bring what the other needs in the relationship. They are a couple you will root for. Honorable mention to all the scenes with the siblings and cousins from the Honey Mountain series. I just love the entire group and their dynamics with each other. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a small town sports romance that is both sweet and spicy.
