Lysistrata by Aristophanes

This was so far over my head I shouldn't even count it as a finished book. In fact, I'm wondering what I'm doing with the book club that I read it for.

It would be remiss if I didn't add that the basic tenant put forth, that women withhold sex, and therefore male gratification, in order to exert their influence--in this case end a war--is intrinsically unfeminist.

Lo, to relinquish observing life through the male gaze... Perhaps one day.
