Landline by Rainbow Rowell

2.0

I am glad I waited for a library copy. If I spent my money on this, I would have been more disappointed.
Plot was silly, but then again a magic landline phone to 1998 is silly. I thought the conversations would two sided that both characters would somehow be themselves, but the phone only worked one-way, which ended my suspending belief in the story. Georgie's profession and how it was written was done poorly and only to serve as an issue and was not fleshed out enough. I didn't laugh or find much of anything funny in the story.

I mostly felt sad for the characters.

Okay, but nothing amazing happened.
