Living My Best Life by Claire Frost
3.0
I thought the book could’ve been better. The beginning was kind of boring. I was engaged toward the middle. And it got a bit boring toward the end. Also, the main character, Bell, made an assumption about social media influencer, Millie. She thought that her life was perfect just because her pictures on social media were. Well, she sure did learn that her life was far from perfect when she met her. Glad they met and became friends so quickly. They both learned something from each other. Another thing I liked about the book was that there was a gay couple in the story. I like that. That’s awesome. There should be more gay couples in stories like this. And I like that the story ended on a positive note. I thought that was cool. The toasts that Suze (Bell’s work friend) and Millie gave at the end were moving. Brought tears to my eyes. I enjoyed the ending. I have mixed feelings about this book, but you should give this book a chance and see how you’d feel about it. You might feel differently. You never know. Happy reading!
