The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller
3.0
“In the darkness, two shadows, reaching through the hopeless, heavy dusk. Their hands meet, and light spills in a flood like a hundred golden urns pouring out of the sun.”
This book was so beautifully written, though it confused me how the two so easily forgave each other after “cheating”. I’m aware that it takes place in a time very different than now, and also I don’t read a ton of Greek mythology either. Overall though I enjoyed the book:)
