I suspect rereading the first books would have been helpful but I'm not patient enough for that.  paolini's writing is just descriptive enough without feeling overly flowery. Some good character development from the first books and living in Murtagh's torment from his past. Not sure how I feel about
the ending set up for more books with azalgur/draumur and nasuada romance. Very cheesy 'he is dying'  ending cut to 'Being cared for by the love interest'
