Quite an interesting story. loads of politics. Quite interesting to tell the religious part of the story from the viewpoint of a true believer, rather than a cynical political player. I loved how there was a pro-science faction, that's not something you see a lot of in books where magic is real. Overall I really enjoyed the book but the characters seem to have their ending and I don't really feel the need to read on right now.
