The narrator was putting me to sleep, and I really had to persevere to get to the interesting part, but glad I did. I admit I had to keep checking to see if this really was a Christine Feehan book as it was totally different from her other books but once I got over the boring beginning it improved even if it did feel like it was written by someone else.
