If i had to sum up the book I'd go with my favourite out of context quote - 'Must everyone on the Baltic, Halyard thought, have some esoteric piscine calling? "What fish thing?"'

Also, he might be a complete dick but I did walk away a little bit in love with Halyard. Inexplicable, really. I just really enjoy an exasperated guy I guess lol
