New to me author and I read this as a standalone

For me was a quick read novella and it made the whole story feel rushed.

I didnt feel we got to connect or know a whole lot about either MC Snake or Ruger.

It was almost wham bam thank you sir happy ever after with a bit of biffo thrown in for variation from Rugers ex club.
