Blood Over Bright Haven was perfectly measured, evenly folded on all side, with a perfect bow on top. The writing, themes, plot and characters. Chef's Kiss!!

There are so many themes that relate to what is happening in life today, it shows the complexity of making a difference. It doesn't always have the expected and intended outcome, even with good intentions. The "wool covered eyes" of the people in Tiran really showed conversations of classism, misogyny, corruption of ones trusted government. The audicity of people in power, the way people don't take responsiblity/entitlement for actions, but then need to control take ~ knowing "better" about people and experience they have not lived. Making judgements and decision to exploite for gains and ones own agenda. It tackles themes of racism, genocide in an eye opening brutalness.

This unraveling plot explored so much and it was so good, I couldn't put it down!
