This is a great ending to a great series and I'm glad I gave an entire weekend to reading it. It's somewhat hilarious that what saves the realm in the end is Taristan being too much of a wife guy. Good for him tbh. Things feel well concluded after the end of this book, which is always something I like at the end of the series. The slowburn romance was frustrating as hell but in a good way, though there's not much of a payoff for it without the B&N exclusive bonus scene.
