"Dream a thousand dreams and then make a thousand things happen."

As much as I want to say that the tears I shed in this book are happy tears, they're mostly not.

If I was baffled by everything that has transpired in the first book, then I don't know an exact word to describe how much this left me speechless and empty. This was such a heartbreaking yet beautiful book. I swear I've never expected this book to be THIS GOOD! I literally expected a spicy read—and it is—but it also left me so damaged, gutted and heartbroken to the point that I was sobbing and overthinking everything for hours.

I don't really want to talk much about the characters to avoid spoiling anything, but I just want to say that the French banters and confessions in this book were really something else—like, I just wanna get my own Frenchman right now!

With the cliffhanger that Flock left, the secrets, truths, deceptions, and lies made perfect sense and were woven so perfectly together in this book.
