Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes
5.0
Such a powerful story. The paragraph from Plato's Republic quoted at the very beginning of the book is profound (going from darkness to light, light to darkness) and perfectly connected to the story that follows. I cry just THINKING about this book. Normally, I'm not a fan of first person, but it's use in this book was perfect.
