Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt
4.25
This was a truly heartwarming novel written by someone who you can tell has processed grief in a very healthy but possibly long, roundabout way.
I loved how everyone was interwoven together and seeing how each character was able to impact someone felt cozy in a way. The character growth from each person in this story was approached in a such a way that felt genuine.
The book was very easy to read and get through and you can't help but want all of these people to end up happy. This was a splendid book that I will recommend to someone who is looking for a cozy read that also handles real life issues.
I can't think of anything off the top of my head that is keeping this from a 5 star read other than the fact it didn't really blow me away. It was a nice comfort style of book but there were moments that seemed slow and also a little nonsense or frustrating with the characters.
