I swear I cannot even express how much I love Rainbow's characters and writing style. It is full of such reality and depth that you just lose yourself instantly. When I first read this book a little over a year ago now, I fell in love with the story and all of the newness that it brought. This second time I was scared it wouldn't live up now that I knew what happened but I was wrong. It read even stronger! As a person who when reading it the first time was only going to a community college I only understood from a personal level a few things. Now as a person about to start my first year a a real university this book opened my eyes and connected with my feelings deeply. Such a lovely read! Wish there where more books out there about college and university vs always being high school.
