I'm a bit over dual time narratives at the moment, so I started the book lacking in some enthusiasm. I found the dialogue unrealistically lengthy and oddly formal and the resolution was too contrived. Overall, a miss for me. I reserve 1 star reviews for books I can't finish but I did get through this, so it gets a 2.
