I just wanna hug Aled and Frances and cry my eyes out. The amount of joy the first half of the book gave me, is the equal amount of pain I went through in the second half.
I don't think anyone won't believe in monsters once they'll see Aled and Frances' mom.
Frances is such a relatable character, I've ever come across. And Aled every time I see him suffering it just stabs right at my heart. The whole point bout knowing ones' identity and sexuality, and why it is and it is not important is so well done, I merely have words to express.
Carol Last is an absolute fuckin terrible bitch!!!
