Wild River is book 2 in the Magnolia Falls series. This is a small town, hate to love, he falls first, found family romance. It follows Ruby and River. Ruby is a strong, sassy and independent FMC. Ruby and River have great banter and a great connection. I love the found family of this series and the banter between the guys in the group chats are hilarious!

Ruby is back in town to help take care of her father and his bar. She also has to deal with taking care of her other family members (mom, and brothers), even thought they are capable of taking care of themselves.

River is her father's lawyer and they don't make the best impressions on each other when they first meet. They start out as enemies and that slowly turns into and enemies with benefits situation. Even though they continue to tell each other not to catch feelings, they both do.

I love how River wanted the best for Ruby even if that meant she had to leave and make a career for herself. I also loved how he showed he cared for her by helping her in ways she wasn't even aware of.

I loved being back in Magnolia Falls and I can't wait for more! Loving Romeo is still my favorite, but I loved these characters and their story as well.

Desiree Ketchum and Aiden Snow did a fabulous job bringing Ruby and River to life. 5/5 for narration!
