The fourth book in the Kings of Sin series and I definitely enjoyed this one more than the last two.

We had Sloan as our lead FMC and she honestly is one of my favourite characters. Shes strong but you get to do that vulnerable side of her. Not only that we got to see her girl boss which I adored.

Xavier is also what I would call a cinnamon roll character. He seems shallow and just a pretty boy but there is more depth to him and Sloan brings that out in him.

They both have last trauma caused by family but they work well together to move past that. I adored their relationship and I felt that Sloan definitely shone through as the couple.

It didn’t have all the angst that I adored in King of Wrath but you know what I’m happy with that. This book was a joy to read and the bonus is we got see some familiar characters as well as new ones!

As always Ana Huang’s books are great to read and even though this is over 400 pages it is well worth it in my opinion.

I am however excited for Vuk’s book and we might get more tension in it!
